We are redefining the way people
understand and experience transformation
by teaching them how to work with their own nervous system to
create sustainable, embodied change.
Brainbased exists at the intersection of healing and high performance
because we believe nervous system regulation is the foundation for both recovery and expansion.
It’s about unlocking the capacity that’s always been there—so your nervous system can support your healing, your leadership, and the life you’re here to build.
What is Neurosomatic Training?
Rather than relying on willpower or mindset alone, you’ll use daily, body-based tools to rewire the patterns that keep you stuck in anxiety, pain, disconnection, overdoing or emotional repression—and replace them with new pathways that support calm, resilience, embodiment and presence.
Whether you're healing from trauma, navigating chronic stress, or growing into your next level of leadership, this work helps you become the expert of your own nervous system—so you can live with more clarity, connection, energy and emotional freedom.
Elisabeth Kristof, MA, is the founder of BrainBased.com, an innovative online membership that helps people rewire their nervous systems, heal from trauma, and expand their capacity to lead, connect, and thrive. Through a unique blend of applied neurology and trauma-informed somatic practices, BrainBased guides members through daily neurosomatic training to create sustainable, embodied change—supporting not just healing, but meaningful expansion in all areas of life.
With over 15 years of experience in movement and brain-based therapies, Elisabeth is a recognized leader in trauma-informed applied neurology. She is also the creator of the Neurosomatic Intelligence (NSI) Coaching Certification, an ICF-accredited program that has trained hundreds of coaches, therapists, and practitioners to harness the power of the nervous system for resilience, behavior change, and performance.
Elisabeth’s work lives at the intersection of trauma healing and human potential. She believes that understanding and training the nervous system is essential not just for recovery, but for growth—for expanding impact in relationships, leadership, and the world. Whether someone is rebuilding after trauma or moving into their next level of influence, this work equips them to show up fully: resourced, regulated, and ready.
She is also the co-host of Trauma Rewired, a Top 100 Apple podcast exploring the science and lived experience of healing through the nervous system. Across all her work, Elisabeth is committed to making nervous system education accessible, practical, and deeply transformational.
As CEO and Co-owner of BrainBased.com, Margy is on a mission to help people expand their capacity, grow their income, and dramatically increase their impact—without the burnout.
While helping to build and lead Interview Connections, her multi-7-figure podcast booking agency, Margy confronted a truth many successful entrepreneurs face: external accomplishments weren’t delivering true fulfillment. Despite her outward success, beneath the surface she battled anxiety, stress, and relationship challenges that no amount of achievement could solve. Then she discovered the missing piece: neurosomatic training.
Through this groundbreaking approach to rewiring the nervous system, Margy experienced a profound shift—not just in her achievement, but in her capacity to actually enjoy her life. By working with her nervous system rather than against it, she unlocked a level of success and personal satisfaction previously unimaginable. The transformation was so profound that it made possible what had once seemed unattainable, including becoming a mother in 2024.
Today, Margy Co-leads BrainBased.com with uncompromising dedication to helping others reclaim joy, connection, and massive impact through nervous system alignment. This work isn't about quick fixes or pushing through barriers; it's about fundamentally rewiring ourselves to support extraordinary achievement and life satisfaction.
Her mission extends beyond individual healing to revolutionizing how people approach their lives: by building capacity from within, creating wealth that feels good, and generating world-changing impact while feeling more alive than ever before. Margy lives in Rhode Island with her wife, baby, and 4 extremely quirky (and mostly special needs) rescue pets.
